I never answer random calls from unknown people. I only answer calls from known people and who`se number is logged on my phone. Cuts out all the hassle of spam calls.

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

Michael from Curry's PC World, telling me about a wonderful limited time deal. DIdn't let him go any further asked how he got my number as I'm not a customer and haven't requested any telemarking calls. He said my network provider had given it to them and named them. Threw me a bit as it was my provider. I asked if he had my name then, he said he didn't know it, so they obviously have obtained a list from somewhere. I hung up at that point.
Caller claimed to be from HMRC and said that I was about to be prosecuted by HMRC.

Pressed 2 to 'speak' to the bank (to give them a taste of their own medicine)., and just a random guy picks up the phone - think i got him out of his bed??? Strange! SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

SCAM !! Pretended they were from my mothers bank after sending her a text pretending it was from her daughter who needed money. Scammed her out of £2800. Voice on phone was English. Reported to Barclays fraud. Phone calls from this number were persistent insisting money hadn’t gone through and no doubt trying to extort more money.

Had three uninvited calls from this unknown caller. I don't respond to such calls. If they are genuine they can leave me a voicemail (but they don't, of course!) and I can call back if I choose. Suspect it's a scam call so have blocked the number!

Silent call I have received repeated calls from this number Thankfully I have my phone on a system where unless the number is a recognized number on my Contacts List, the Call is taken as a Silent Call. The Caller never leaves a message. I am now going to Block this number as a nuisance call.

Fraud SPAM SCAM tried to send 1 off code to mobile to access my o2 account then tried to ring me off the number 01313581213 then because i didnt answer tried again off 02045898110 but i didnt answer again as calls from numbers not in phone alert me there automatically blocked I have now also reported there activity to o2 and blocked them fully should they try the same thing again!
