I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. All my contacts come up as named entries. Phone usually rings a few times with unknown numbers to me, goes to the answer phone and no message is generally left, so I check via this web site in case it could be a safe number, but so far never has been. It is worth the effort to put all your contacts into your phone, it saves older people much distress.

Called me saying survey company and working on behalf of Barclays Bank. Since i don't have a Barclays bank account i asked them to tell me where i got my information from and he wouldn't answer. I told him to remove my details. Total scammers.

SCAM Calls every September asking me to buy books for a local school, then pay in May the following year. Called again this week asking to pay for the books, but hung up when I told them I didn't agree to the deal. Would have scammed me if I didn't remember saying no to their offer.

Getting on my nerves now this is a persistent scam caller.

I was defrauded 10 thousand pounds by this number, they hacked my computer and online account, they put fake screens on my computer believing that they had paid incorrect compensation to me which looked legit on my online banking, except the screen I was seeing was fake and the were transferring money out my account

SCAM / SPAM The last two digits sre different but the rest of the number is the same. So I assume may be connected as could have numerous lines with a similar number just last two numbers different. Anyway it was a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying our broadband IP address had been hacked and would be switched off within 24 hours and to press 1 for more info. So I warily pressed 1 we don't even have BT as our provider I told that to the Indian sounding man, who probably wasn't even Indian I'm
