This number left me a voicemail saying they were calling from Inland Revenue and to ring them back. If I did not ring back I should expect legal action. Definitely a scam

very dodgy! I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!

Calling every day not leaving message so cant be very important will try to catch it & put it in my call protect voicemail box,strange that none of the numbers ive put in there so far have left a message.

Calling to offer free service to stop my annoying cold calls. Genuine service, very nice lady.

Call in the middle of the day. Didn t recognise the number or expect a call so didn t pick up.

Silent, so I hung up.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. She said she was sorry, again I told her no she wasn t. She said she d take my number off the list. Do they even have a list or do they just randomly ma

Several times a day. Answered once and could hear noises in background but no-one spoke: now don t answer but check number afterwards. Harassing to say the least.

Number keeps calling and cuts off seconds after I answer. Doesn't let me call number bk

several calls upto 20:00 at night, Millions of years of human evolution and we end up with Wesh Idiots who can not manage to leave a complete message that starts at the right place, suggest use all prepaid responce envolopes and request for information cards to get a load of junk delivered to these idiots

I answered a call from this number but it was quiet on the other line then hang up on me. This number has been ringing me numerous times now, no voicemail or text. Beware.

Calls once or twice a week. Recorded English male voice: This is an important announcement about your boiler....... I don t have a boiler!! Harmless but a nuisance.

Had a silent call on my landline.

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names.
