Likely something dodgy happens at that point. Highly doubt HMRC use such a service and probably a scam because, well, Bradford innit.

Over the past two or three years I have told them several times not to call me, and to delete my details from their database. They state that they will and it will take a few weeks. My definition of a few weeks is roughly around a month. Their definition is obviously a lot longer - I left them about three years ago, and they still insist on calling me and sending me junk mail. I gave the company my information about the possibility of joining their school and just called to follow up.
Caller identified himself as Reid from Reactive Media. Said he was calling about an overpayment on a (non-existent) loan between two arbitrary dates. When asked for details he couldn t give any and when pushed further he hung up.

Got a text from this number proclaiming to be Lloyds telling me I’d paired a device with them today. I haven’t done anything of the sort but the text wants me to clink on a link if “ this wasn’t you!”. I’ve decided not to click the link as I think this is spam and fraudulent.

Called and asked for my husband. I said not available. The very well spoken gentleman asked to leave his number. I asked what it was regarding and he said the estate of *****. I was instantly suspicious as I had not heard of the company in relation to the estate. So I said I hadn t heard of them, he said because we have been speaking to ******. I said no you haven t I don t know you and hung up. Total scan husband fuming!
Saying that I was due a hearing test and may be due a payment because of previously working in a noisy construction work environment. This was false info as I have never worked in that environment. Caller also knew my first name and street. Terminated the call.
We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like.
