I said it wasn’t me and I’d like to cancel (but was already suspicious - who buys a gift card for £49.99, rather than £50?!), then they started asking about which device I’d like the refund processed via. When I asked more questions about my concerns that this was a scam call they hung up.

I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so.
