When I protested that we are registered with the TPS, the caller said I had not renewed the registration annually as required. I told him he was wrong about annual renewal, but he wouldn t have it.

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

Claims to be from British Gas billing - says to please any key to hear important information about you bill. This is most likely a scam.

Had quote from this company, they have made follow up calls and offer to match other quotes! Don't like that idea they shouldoffer their best deal in the first place.

I have had two calls from them now. I did not answer. Barclays bank do not have this particular mobile number to contact me!

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.
