Scam. Claims to be from HSBC trying to warn me about an unauthorised payee request. Honestly, as if times aren't hard enough without these scum bags trying to steal from working people. Was called from this number with a robotic message claiming to be an urgent message from HMRC about a fraud to do with me. I put the phone down before hearing the full message but on ringing back later got no response/dead line. This seems like it is a hoax designed to get people's personal details.

rECEIVED GARBLED MESSAGE FROM THIS NUMBER WOKE ME UP EARLY THIS MORNING JIST OF THE MESSAGE WAS ALL MY MONEY WAS BEING REMOVED FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT.
Said they were calling from Virgin Media relating to problems with my internet. Sounded like a call centre in India. Wanted to talk me through giving them remote access to settings on my internet. Very dubious, please be careful!
