This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1618141xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with PPI calls, robocalls, insurance marketing, also accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?

Asked for Mr Collins which is not my name asked who I was and I did not tell them as it was a call to my mobile number. Tried to start asking me questions while I told them I was registered on TPS (yes you can register mobiles) and they should remove my number from their list astghey could now be fined for a breach of the TPS rules. SCAM, I rcvd a call from a guy who claimed he was from BT and that we had a problem with our line etc. Sadly for him we have nothing to do with BT and when I confronted him & had a go at him and asked him never to call our number again he called me a ba.....rd. I decided to just hang up and blocked his number.
