Asked him to confirm when its for and turns out it was 2020, well i, along with a lot of the population was on furlough. This number is from AO.COM (Appliances on Line) and is likley to be with regard to a recent purchase and/or expired warranty of an applicance such as a Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine etc. They will try to sell you an extened warranty etc

Did not recognise this number but a previous tellows report mentioned the name Baxi and as I have an appointment with an engineer from that company I called the number. Unfortunately the call nformed me that the engineer s appointment to was delayed by two days!

I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. That was it, but the fact it was unsolicited, made it seem like a scam.
