SCAM: I think it must be a scam number because he said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse which has since disbanded. he jumped in with another 'even better offer' before I'd even rejected the 1st offer. I didn't get a chance to reject any offer though as they spoke so fast with a thick accent, that I couldn't understand what was being said. I then asked him to repeat & he said 'bye' & hung up... Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.

Fraud The friendly female operator claimed I had agreed to sponsor a school anti bullying campaign last February 2020, and they were calling to ask which schools I wanted the booklets to go into. I had never agreed to this, I know every charity and campaign I have supported over the years so I knew this was a scam. I Imagine if i had been pulled into their scam and talked about which schools, they would then ask me to pay my contribution by asking for my card details.
