They asked for my name and if I had a life insurance. I said thank you but I am not interested. They replied on a very rude way: "I am not asking you if you are interested or not, just if you have or not a life insurance". I said no thanks, and goodbye. Phone Number from Bradford, 01274647318, I answered the phone and a recorded message said that if I did not talk to them I could be arrested, they claimed to be Customs and Excise, I waited and a man answered and he asked for my name, I declined and hung up. Possibly a scam

If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

SCAM The call was a 'real' person in a busy call centre purporting to be from Amazon reporting that someone had bought a £45 voucher through my account which they thought was suspicious. I told them I would check my account separately and contact Amazon myself if I saw anything untoward and I hung up. Needless to say there was no gift card purchase on my Amazon account.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel
