This number calls me pretty much every day. I've got no PPI claims and I'm not due a refund so don't answer.
A firm called Office Essential rang and asked if we do start ups for business's.

SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. I hung up and blocked the number. [Dec 14 2020]
I called back and it cut off. Presume it's a nuisance call.

mobile number 07904855519 is being used to deploy a button press 1 SCAM. Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.
Call received from this number telling me my loan application has been successful told him I m not interested and he told me he was hot and sexy!!!

Told them before that i am not interested, tried ignoring their calls yesterday (6 calls in total). Answered today, got some guy who rudely hung up as i was about to express my dis-pleasure with their calls. repeated silent calls from this number to my 90-yr-old mother
Hung up as soon as I answered but then the same number called my mobile seconds later. Clearly working from some list which has both my landline and mobile number linked. I can t think of any such list except NHS!

Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.

Purporting to be from “Bank Security”, regarding unauthorised transactions. Select option 1 if I authorised 2 high cost transactions, press 2 to speak to customer support, who spoke with a strong accent, asking me for personal details. I hung up.
