Missed call from this number. Don’t live or work in London so not sure why trying to contact me. Don’t intend to answer if ring again. Suspect a SCAM?

I recieved a call and as the gentleman above it appeared to be a prank call and ater a few seconds the call was ended by the "caller". Unknown caller as yet.

Had a missed call from here, called back they asked if it was me, I said yes and they hung up!

AMBULANCE CHASERS, Just block the number, they are a pain in the arse, 3 calls in the same afternoon.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to a company called Steel Plus 1, based in Romford, Essex.

this is very STUPID page. I want to find out WHO CALLED ME and the page is asking me the same instead of giving me the answer??? WTF!!!

Received call from this number, which I declined to answer as number was unknown to me. Dialled number using 141 and discovered it belongs to Ruthbridge Ltd (a debt collection company). They appear to have offices throughout the UK.

I have had eight calls from this number,but not answered any.

RSPB t.v. advert says text for a free info. leaflet, then when you do, this number calls, never leaves a message, or calls and then hangs-up before you can answer - is a nusance,if you can get the info. leaflet online you d be safer.

It was a call from The Donkey Sanctuary call centre. I had previously donated after watching an advert on TV re. Mono the donkey

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? this no keeps calling me every day saying they are from EE & trying to sell me phones & tablets etc. they are nothing to do with EE and I think they are a scam.
