Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. It s Vanquis Credit Card. I live in St Helens so they think that because they use a St Helens Prefix I will pick it up. They ve been hounding me for weeks for ?70. They ve probably wasted more than that in man hours over that period trying to call me.

Like many others, very rarely get calls to my landline. When I do, it s always Indians telling me I ve been in a car accident. I usually go along with it for giggles. I have yet to figure out exactly what they expect to scam from you. This time though it was a lady and I could hear multiple men in the background saying the same thing she was saying to me, to other people. I recommend making up elaborate stories for your own entertainment if you re not annoyed by these people yet.
