Just got a very strange call from this number saying it was hmrc and that I had been fraudulent ... and I needed to pay ... first they said £1900 then £1800 then £1700. They said if I didnt they would send the police to get me arrested ... he wouldnt give me any details of how they knew who I was and was quite bullying ... my hands are left shaking and then he put down the phone

Similar number is used for ppi claim call centre - company based in Cardiff, probably this is the same case, so if not interested, just be aware...
People who believe this type of call from 'M$' need to seek proper help, just had this number call me but was gone when I picked up, but IF this is as reported by others, more so if you let them access your system remotely, you have been scammed, m$ will NEVER, ring you up, period, if you have let them in, then change ALL passwords, warn any financial sources you use on the PC (banking, etc), letting them know what has happened, that way they can be on the lookout for suspicious activity, after which I woul
SCAM. Follow up call, to a confirmed Fraud call I had a few hours earlier to this. About Wifi, Router, error codes etc. Confirmed fraud as i called my provider straight away.
