Code is for Hungerford ~ Accented (Indian) male purporting to be 'Sky 'services' wanting to "speed-up my Internet service" by entering his quoted details into my PC ~ no doubt to access my financial details.... Noises of .'busy call centre' in the background ~ which can be a recording overplaying - On fact, plausible but when I didn't bite 'accepting my "slow-speed internet" ~ he gave up too easily. BEWARE.
SCAM told me they were from a financial well-being company then proceeded to ask me details like name etc. They'd already know that if genuine.
Asian prat telling me he was from BT openreach advising me of a problem with my internet connection, told him not to worry about it and hung up immediately. They have tried phon...

I received an email from this same guy called Tony yesterday afternoon. I suspected the email straightaway. I called the number, went to a recorded advert, I quickly cut the call off after 1min 22secs. It is a scam!!!! Please beware of this guy and/or related tricks.

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.
Fraud I am selling a car in Czechia, this number contacts me and is interested in buying. Says he's in Belgium, that his mother is from UK and father from Belgium. He did not speak very good English and had no French accent either. He repeated several times that he'd send me money for the car in advance and send a private shipping company afterwards. Photos on a Czech ad site were apparently enough. When I was insisting on a face to face meeting, the call abruptly ended. Be careful!!!

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. A guy with an Indian accent called from this number, wanting to sell me an iPhone...but then he tried to have phone sex with me. I'm a guy, by the way. He wanted me to suck his dick, wanted to fuck me...I think the call only ended because his supervisor intervened. I swear, these call centre guys are a bunch of pervs!

Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.

Got a random text from it reading "Snapchat [code] passcode for phone enrolment Never share it" If it's a phishing scam it's a bit weak, I'm not even sure where I need to enter the code to get scammed (I'm guessing it's a hyperlink) Anyhow I know it's not legit because I don't even use Snapchat
This is one of several numbers that began making repeated calls to my mobile after I had used RAC recovery to move my car following a skid into a kerb in the snow. The RAC denied passing on my details but did so to its recovery subcontractor and to a third party company it employs called Sigma. The caller refused to identify themselves and rang off when I asked for them. They used some generic name like National Accident Database.
Asked to speak to my mother who died 2 years ago, fed up of these cold calling morons.
