called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.

This is the very latest in a long line of nuisance calls from a similar Sheffield number. No message left when they encounter call handling.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Almost certainly a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number on your phone. ...
