He ranted about being from Afganistan, and that he was in the Taliban, and had an effing rifle you get the message! went on for 5 mins... Could here callcentre noise in background. I called the 0800 orange no. and was told it wasnt them, but called the number and it said it WAS orange and the office was called. Dialed 101 and reported the number and moron to the police.. let them find him.

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!

blocked this number, because it is a very close number to a previous gas cold caller and an insurance scam number. the only difference is the last digit. they must have bought a job lot of numbers.
