Scam HMRC tax rebate due to Covid. HMRC do not have my phone number so quite obvious. Avoid anything referring to Covid unless you know for absolute certain it is genuine. Also, remember Covid jabs are FREE. Dump anything that appears to ask for payment or similar details.

Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted. Fortunately I am too old and experienced to be upset by it, but someone else might not be. Nasty, since he asked for the previous subscriber for this line by name.
Called at 4:20pm but I didn t answer. Area of cambridge my phone said.

Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.
SCAM: Pseudo automated female voice claiming to be from BT stating that my BT landline and internet connection will be cut off, but speak to our advisor by pressing 1 on the telephone who will sort it out lol Disconnected and banned number.

SCAM. Claiming to be Virgin Media saying that my router is sending error messages to their server. This is utter tosh and rot - my router does nothing of the sort! And I think theca centre staff might actually believe that are being employed by Virgin. Did not answer - they did not leave a message I did a search on the internet and it comes up with "computer fixing" No more needs to be said except - this is a nuisance call. Imho
