Received the call at nearly 7 in the evening. Line was silent for a few seconds before a UK girl started asking about a car accident. I replied to her I don t even drive and to take me off a list. Blocked!

Persistent calling mainly at the same time of day and upto 4 times a day, so I know which times to avoid answering the phone!

This is a legit number, however these people are thieves and liars - beware sending them anything, they will destropy your phone and charge you for the privilage.

This no. didn't get through my Call Blocker phone interrogation so will be put into my permanently blocked list.

they call me at least twice a day from all different numbers but as yet I have not answered any of them as they are from a debt that was about ten years ago which is past the statute of limit

This is one of several numbers that began making repeated calls to my mobile after I had used RAC recovery to move my car following a skid into a kerb in the snow. The RAC denied passing on my details but did so to its recovery subcontractor and to a third party company it employs called Sigma. The caller refused to identify themselves and rang off when I asked for them. They used some generic name like National Accident Database.

Scam call about some tax fraud allegation

Phone rang and automated voice said this is a call for (my name) if you can take the call press 1. Then it went to hold music. Then a guy answered from CARS and said hello and asked for the first line of my address. I asked who the company was and why they needed my address. He said it was for security. I said I wasn t giving details until they told me why. They said a business associate of mine had passed on my details. I asked who. Report this company to the ICO immediately. It is the only way to stop these calls.
