Received a call from this no saying they were doing a survey for the Clydesdale Bank

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

Twice in last two days I picked up the phone to hear Goodbye and phone went dead

Recently had sales call from this number asking about double glazed windows etc, would not let me speak and was very rude when I said I was not interested, so annoyed did 1471 found out number and searched online, this number didnt take incoming calls!!

I have 3 charges of 35pence on my phone Bill I know I didn’t ring this number. It’s an old bill so I don’t know what kind of call it was.

they said they were from ee net work but when I phoned my contract net work, they said to cancel any agreement I made with these people as they've never heard of them

Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! Caller looking to sell dubious investments. Repeated calls despite being asked to stop several times, bordering on harrassment. Pushy, rude and evasive. I suspect company uses several trading names and telephone numbers. Please beware of this number !

Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

Another Vanquis number. The company keep calling me but asking for someone else whom I have never heard of. Despite being told (eventually) that they will remove my number, they always call again, usually from another number.

Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.
