Received 5 calls in the last 24 hours from these horrible people. Even when they were told that the person involved in the accident had died they still kept calling and asking to speak to him. Totally disgusted.

SCAM - caller claimed to be from Virgin Media. I couldn’t be bothered to string them along like I usually do; instead, I just blew my emergency whistle into the microphone.

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them. We are not even with BT!!! DON'T trust these phone numbers.

SCAM Asian sounding male purporting to be from BT Openreach saying our internet speeds were markedly low and he could help with this problem. I said we regularly check our up and download speeds and as we're on Fibre to the Premises with BT our usual speed is around 400mbs. He put the phone down. The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.

Fraud I am selling a car in Czechia, this number contacts me and is interested in buying. Says he's in Belgium, that his mother is from UK and father from Belgium. He did not speak very good English and had no French accent either. He repeated several times that he'd send me money for the car in advance and send a private shipping company afterwards. Photos on a Czech ad site were apparently enough. When I was insisting on a face to face meeting, the call abruptly ended. Be careful!!!

Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. Txt came in @ 16:07 Info from- http://www.call-charges.co.uk/03308-premium-rate-phone-numbers#one Calls from landlines are typically charged between 2p and 10p per minute; calls from mobiles typically cost between 10p and 40p per minute, but they can set the rate at whatever they like. Just delete it. Don't call them back!
