Called regarding the car accident I or a person at this address had been in in the last two years. Hung up when I asked which address she was calling regarding.

Looks more like a UK mobile number.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. It's a scam or virus

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.
