Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.
Sick to death of these people, no matter what you say to them they never listen. I`ve shouted swore and threatened and now I think they doing this to wind me up. so to PERFECT PREFERENCE call staff you leave me no option I have purchased a whistle (similar to those used by football Refs) Go on Make my day.
Informed that i had been involve d in a car accident, when i stated that this was not so she put the phone down, she had stated that she was phoning from a company but because of her acsent i did not get the name. On returning the call i am informed that it is not a recognisable number.
I don't know anyone in Germany so god knows how they got my number but the thing is if it was important i get so many harassing calls everyday I don't answer anything i don't recognize.

This was the first call from Hardy Evans Ltd. I got a name by trying to call back the number 01792764634 as I assumed that it might have been from one of job agancies. Wrong move. This is a scam number pretending to be from the "ONS" (Office of National Statistics) for a telephone interview following on from the National Census form completion. It was from a letter from the so called ONS but the phone number was written by hand. The letter also contained genuine numbers for the ONS to give it a realistic authenticity. They try to get you to pay a fine/ empty your bank account.
