If you speak to these people quote the statute of limitations "Statutes of limitations are written laws passed by a legislative body in common law systems to set the maximum time after an event when legal proceedings may be initiated. When the period of time specified in a statute of limitations passes, a claim can no longer be filed" Statute barred debt refers to a debt that s not enforceable because the time a creditor has to chase payment has passed. This is outlined under the Limitation Act 1980.

These guys tricked my 89 year old mother with dementia into buying their "services" on 12 August 2016. I only found out when they called again six days later and spoke to me by mistake. Caller ID on my bt landline said it was an international number... 011442921680283. I suspect this number is also used by the company thats making the nuisance calls.

Automated call from Amazon regarding outstanding bill for Amazon prime . Had one yesterday different number . It is a scam do not press and of the numbers on phone .

Called to tell me that I had a problem with my computer and they would be able to sort it out for me. As soon as company details were requested, they rang off.

Finance firm been pestering me daily for over a month. Tried asking them to stop in many polite ways, now I just tell them to **********. Before anyone tells me thats illegal. Iam 72 on a lot of medication I lost my wife to cancer because our oncology unit was closed for covid use and now my daughter is going the same way. Me being abusive to a bunch of bone idle idiots sat on their asses making life a misery for others with this constant barrage of nuisance calls SHOULD be illegal.
