Got a call from this number at 12:30 pm on 30/07/2021. I answered suspecting it's a scam but they immediately hung up.

They called me twice. I did not answer and tried to call back but the number was unobtainable.

they are persistant but will only be contacting you if youve contacted them regarding house etc

Call was silent but when I tried to call it gave a message saying this company does not do outbound calling so if you ve had a call it s probably being misused so report it to the information commissioners office ...so I just did"! They a e investigating it and I got sky to block the number from calling again!

This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.
