I was actually phoned by the number 01172948771 (but the internet can't find a number to match), but I was told I could call back on 01413679893. Claiming to be UK Energy Tariffs/Together Energy/Direct Energy - I got all three names in the course of a single phone call. Definitely trying to get my bank details off me, because apparently, I can't get this energy deal on their website, which they gave me as being ukenergytariffs.com but seems to be for South Africa if you look at the privacy statement.
Had missed calls from this number but never leaves a voicemail, people do work throughout the day.

This number called my son yesterday and today; he's only 18 and new to all this so yesterday he brought the phone down to me to talk to them. As soon as I said "Can I help you" they hung up. This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime.
