Number came up as Worcester, England and as I know nobody in England I am blocking this. Also, it cut off as I answered it.

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.

2 calls to my direct business line, one to my colleague, all within 15 minutes. Silence on answer, phone clicks, someone says hello then hangs up.

We received a silent call from them which locked our line for a few minutes even when we put the phone down and pick it up again. We dialed 1471 and got the above number which I called on my mobile but withheld our number and they identified themselves as the above company, as soon as we got the name, we hang up. scammer claiming to be from either CAB or FCA don t answer & block right away - a friend got a call & asked for her by name she said hang on I ll go get her, she then put the fone down & just left then hanging hoping to run up their bill but they are managing to reverse call dial & SHE ended up with huge bill so defo cost trap block no. asap!!!
