I had a call from an immigrant this morning saying that they were from Microsoft, and that there was a big problem with my computer which they needed to fix. At this point I told them that they were too late, as someone from their number had already called me about the problem yesterday and fixed it for me. Got a call saying they were phoning regarding a collision I had in March 2012. I didn't even have a license then I told them and they hung. Dodgy - don't give any details

Apparently it s a research firm that does recruitment??? Rang the number back. Person who answered just said hello. Didin t give a company name until I asked, but I couldn t understand her accent anyway.

Getting several calls a day from this number which will not respond (number not known) when called back. I have a hardware blocking device which stops unwanted calls from ringing but they show on the call register nonetheless.

I don t answer calls from unknown numbers, but look them up on the Internet. Having read other people s comments I m pleased I didn t answer. Thank you all for your comments. They really helped.

I did not respond, but checked the dialling code and found that it did not exist. Clearly a scammer.

Alleged not a sales call and only wanted 60 seconds of my time. Had the same call the previous day wanting to know if I was house owner, age etc. When challenged they hang up.
