Spam call, claiming to be from BT and saying hackers have got into your computer but BT will help you to sort it out. If you say you're not with BT, that doesn't bother them as they just say BT is the overall company and they're just protecting you. 'Annie' hung up when I insisted she was a scammer.

This number has called me over 100 times asking for a person by another name. I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... I just said "errr, no - I ve not been involved in an accident for a long while" and they hung up on me. Very untrustworthy - don t bother answering.

They knew my name and address, but asked for my age and said that my answers would help release new products. When I asked who they were I was told UK Preference. I asked for him to stay on the phone whilst I looked up the company on the internet he immediately hung up
