scam. indian man said he was from virgin media and wanted to talk about my internet. i asked for the name he wanted but couldnt tell then he put the phone down. the number 01592...

I have had calls from this number every day for the past two weeks on my landline and mobile, I don't recognise it don't answer.

This individual chose to ring my house number asking for a club. The number was a business number previously but we haven t had nuisance calls on this scale before. Called on the half hour (which is a dead giveaway for cold callers) - not payign attention so I hung up. Why do they do it? Wasting my time as well as theirs and I m not likely to answer a second time am I?? (barred call)

This number calls my mobile at least twice daily, automated dialer as it calls twice in quick succession while getting blocked by my call blocker!

They try to switch numbers I am sick of it 4 times some days

They can ring all day cos I don't answer numbers I don't know. I might answer and say Come on England

This number calls several times a day, but hangs up prior to being able to answer. When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Just another scam / harassment call - this is what I thought the telephone preference scheme was supposed to be stopping !!!

Just got a call from the above phone number- when I answered they put the phone down. Have been getting phone calls over the last three weeks, they leave a message on the answer...

DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.
