The guy said he was from Ecosave Power, which, having read the above, was true. However, he then asked if I had received my renewal paperwork, so I asked if he could tell me who my energy supplier was (I have recently changed suppliers, so would not be expecting any renewal paperwork yet). He said he would call me back - I said no, I can hold on, so he hung up. If that s not suspicious, what is?!

I was rung on my day off to have a woman insist I had been in a car accident and when I went to ask if my number could be removed from the systems she hung up on me. I found her very rude and quite patronising.

I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. I got several calls a day from this number whilst abroad. Didn t answer as I didn t recognize the number and is there was an emergency from some sort they would have left a voice mail.
