i took the call for someone else on their phone, and asked for more information from the company. Was told it was a personal call, when i could hear it was a call centre. The lady refused to give me any info and she told me thats its okay she will phone on the other number she has, tutted and was rude!

Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call back on this number or give any details. My elderly parents received a call this morning. Lucky I was around and he claimed he was calling from virgin media in London. I then asked if he knew English and he said no. From here I released something ain t right. I immediately googled the number he gave and read the previous comment. Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.
