silent call from this number. web search indicates its a scam caller named matthew calling about loft insulation with over 200 complaints in last couple of days. reported to Ofcom, TPS and Info commissioners office.
This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!! When you ask to be removed from their list they refuse and get abusive. They are based in Malaga, Spain and the company is Eureka Properties and this is their website. http://www.eurekapropertyservices.com/contact.html Feel free to include their address on any coupons, junk mail etc., and the phone number for any manner of callbacks you can find. Repeatedly called by Wills UK despite never having given permission and having told them not to call me ever again. When you call them on this number, you get a recording saying that they will call you back and press 1 to remove your number. It doesn t, and they call you over and over again.
Information
I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling. They required bank / credit card details and when I said I had already received compensation from my bank, the call was terminated by them without explanation.

Got a call from this number stating that someone had put me as a emergency contact number, and they have had a car accident. I obviously called everyone i knew to make sure they were all alright, this seems to be a SCAM.
SCAM My wife received an automated call form this number to her mobile advising her that she would soon be arrested in connection with tax avoidance. The voice asked her to "press 1" to speak to someone about it. Clearly a scam of some sort.
Claiming to be from Citizens Advice who apparently have been informed about my outstanding debt status. Is this not a gross breach of one of the 8 principles of the Data Protection Act? Scum caller, and yes i meant to write scum.

Called both my landline and my mobile on a Sunday evening. Clearly a Birmingham number. I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. I understand the Uni says it wants to improve the lot of students but given the vast fees students have to pay that really do not equate to what they are provided with, I think it's a joke, not to say insulting, chasing alumni for money in this devious manner. Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. They were able to give me details about when my phone,that I also have with EE, was due for upgrade as verification that they were actually genuine, as I ve had callers before about phone

Answered but didn t speak, soon put phone down.
They told me id had an accident... (which I didn t) so I told them id just done a poo in my pants if they would like to help me with my accident !! They then got annoyed which I found hilarious as after the conversation was over it was them annoyed and not me! That s the way to deal with these harassing fools!
