As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

Had a missed call. Called back and was told it was EE and that no further action was required! Strange ... maybe they were testing the number to make sure it was still in use for further nuisance calls!

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. Called late Sunday evening. Our VOIP phone not currently working, but a blank message was left on my message service & got sent to my email, together with record of dialling number. No idea who s behind the call.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years.
