Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183282xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don'

SCAM. Tax Scam, pretending to by HMRC, press 1 to connect, then threatens to send someone to arrest you.

AMAZON - Automated voice claiming they cannot take a payment from your card. SCAM!! Number blocked.

SCAM On answering got a pre-record of serious sounding older man stating there was an issue with my national insurance number and fraudulent activity and to press 1 for help (likely to a premium rate number) and to then sure to go and ask me to share my personal details. Definitely a scam.

Just had a call from a rather pushy bloke who sounds like he's from South Wales offering a free pension review. Told him politely enough for starters that I'm not interested. He then began to get shirty insisting they'll pay me £50 in M&S Voucher

These people ignore telephone preference registration and should be prosecuted

SCAM. Pre-recorded voice tells you that your national insurance number is going to be cancelled due to suspicious illegal activity.

THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS. A scammer claiming to be from HMRC threatening court action if I did not pay a large sum of money.

PPI also calls from 01428 865442. When you call back it says office is now closed.
