The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. RAC, Cancelled my membership after they screwed me over on parts and labour. Stated in black and white the parts are covered and they held my car 12 days. This call was to try and push their fear mongering on the cancellation and fee s that i owe them. Worst Breakdown service ever. Happy to take your money not happy to pay out! They shit themselves when i showed up with the police at their RAC approved Garage and this was the 4th garage they moved my car to Total scum.
