This number is a legitimate business - Home Shield Direct. They sell insurance for various white goods. I have cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer covered. Had them out to fix all three appliances at various times and service was excellent. So absolutely NOT a scam.
said they spoke with someone"last week" and they requested a call back, which is rubbish because only I answer the phones, then they got very argumentative when questioned why they'd say that, i ended up hanging up on them. just rude and pushy.

SCAM claimed to be our Broadband providers (he did pull the right name out of fresh air) security department had indications that t a lot of files blocking the line to our router.Would I know why this was. I asked him not to phone again would report him to the police for harassment. He said was I accusing him of being a scam. To go to my computer he would tell me the license no from my account. I said no way. I asked him what (name of company) were going to do about the problem. He dropped the call.
