Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

SCAM. Claiming to be Virgin Media saying that my router is sending error messages to their server. This is utter tosh and rot - my router does nothing of the sort! And I think theca centre staff might actually believe that are being employed by Virgin.
