foreign voice said something wrong with my computer

Received a call from someone with heavy asian accent claiming to be called Neil. Informed me that the monthly maintenance fee for my TV was to be reduced next month & wanted to confirm bank details. I do not have TV maintenance contract so told him so and hung up. SCAM!!!!!!!!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Just transferred account to plus net and before even transfer completed I am receiving daily "missed calls" from this number. Leaky security at Plusnet not good

Got a missed call to my business line with no voice mail left, rang them back, was Calderdale college looking for apprentice placements.

A recorded message advising me to answer the call or ring back, otherwise I would be facing criminal proceedings. I just blocked the number.

After I answered there was just silence

Never picked up my phone, they usually call around lunch time which has now become my lunchtime alarm before I go back to work. I would love for the people to call them and break there balls for trying to fob us off.

On answering the caller rang off. I suppose this in the hope that I would ring back. Of course I never would.

scam avoid like the plague, they cliam to be bristish gas saying i owe them money, i have not even got an account with british gas and never have had one, and never will have one
