SCAM - addressed me by my name and verified my address. The lady basically said that my fibre-glass wool loft insulation is no longer valid and they in my area tomorrow doing surveys in the neighbouring roads. SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

SCAM Asian sounding male purporting to be from BT Openreach saying our internet speeds were markedly low and he could help with this problem. I said we regularly check our up and download speeds and as we're on Fibre to the Premises with BT our usual speed is around 400mbs. He put the phone down. I imagine he was going to ask for ££ to enhance our speed.
