Received a call, couldn't take it, but caller never left message so I Checked BT 1471 later, which came up with 01752365182. Called the number back, kept ringing, no reply!
I’m always polite, but she thanked me 2/3 times for asking how she was & I got suspicious as the call was taking so long, she said she just wanted to ask me a question that “would take 30 seconds”, so I just hung up & I haven’t heard back

Had to add the number to my TrueCaller and Kaspersky number filters to stop the harassment by this particular number 3-4 times a week for the last 3 weeks! Reported it to the ICO. It s stupid that we have to have apps to filter so**ing cold callers!

I've had 4 calls from this number today. The fourth time I answered the call and could hear it was a call centre. The guy asked for me by name and then put the phone down...
Told that I haven t yet claimed PPI and, when I replied that they must have a wrong number, was hung up on.
Recorded voice said someone is trying to use/access your National Insurance Number... then options to press 1 etc. Then another with different last digit today.
Accident claims. PPI.
Called at 10:40ish, didn’t speak at all. I hung up.

SCAM Caller stated they were from BT working on local Broadband speed as it had been slow and that it was being worked on to improve and apologise for any disruption we have had. They had also worked on a new "security patch" and asked me to download on one of my connected devices. On telling him I coulent do that he just cut me off. Very believable for an older person.

SCAM Some "Learning centre" Indian gentleman talking super fast so you can't understand everything he's saying. Hung up after I asked how he got my number as I'm on TPS. He hung up. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy peo
