Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT Internet Dept., who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this. I have to answer calls, because I am expecting a call from my doctor’s surgery about my Covid jab, but I don’t have caller display.

I'd had a similar call a few years ago. in that call the caller said that there was a takeover bid for the company. when I said I wanted a very high amount for my shares, the caller was rude. no idea if it's the same company, but beware.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08452867xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
SCAM - Looking at other websites this number is being used by Accident Claims company about ficticious accidents claims that are on record - - Blocked and reported as SPAM.
