On answering the caller rang off. I suppose this in the hope that I would ring back. Of course I never would.

Amazon has just confirmed to me that this is not a Amazon number. so it is a scamster, Beware all!

Funny they just phoned me saying they were phoning about my Windows computer.

They call many times a day and hang up, not sure but could be some kind of survey, hope they stop calling me because they do this since one year!!

lots of calls from Crime Prevention company they will just not give up even trying to con a colleague into saying yes when I have already told them no!!! Had similar experience previously by a different name and they actually only ever printed 12 copies of their newspaper which we had been asked to advertise in! This is how they can seem legal. Received a call 16/10/19, and was immediately suspicious since it was from a mobile phone, and he sounded like a two-bit barrow boy or a second hand car dealer from the Essex/London border. Tried to get me into a conversation, and made a joke about my last name so I terminated the call.

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.

Definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Ignore it or block the number on your phone. Refer ...

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number.
