Caller with Indian accent said she was calling from "Global Support" because they had identified that my computer was running slowly and they would fix this. She asked me to go to a website www.teamviewer.com. I said I didn t know her so would google this first, before going onto an unknown site. She hung up. This guy claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service but I recognised his voice from 3 calls last week, during the last of which he told me to F*** Off because i called him out. Always a different landline phone number. I know a lot of STD codes as i have worked in (genuine) sales for 40 years. Different codes, different parts of the country, same voice claiming to be from BT Openreach. On this occasion, when he said he was from the TPS and just replied "And?" and he hung up.
