Tried calling me several times over the last few days. PPI / Spam (somehow got my name and address from a list)

Progress Housing (a Lancashire-based housing association) called. We told them that we own our own house and they hung up. May well be a genuine error (we live in their area), but could be a phishing scam.

This number calls at least once a day. I never answer so it goes to answer machine. It is a recorded message about replacing boilers. I report it to ICO every time.

Calling about a fictitious accident

I don t like sales calls on my private mobile as it is, it s an intrusion and a waste of my time but when they lie about having information they don t to try to rope you into their offers, that really makes my blood boil. I have NEVER bought PPI, she also tried to tell me it might be from a loan or credit cards. I have never had loans or credit cards. Daily calls for a week. I finally answered it to find it was an energy company trying to get me to switch. After 14 mins on phone I told the bloke I wasn t interested and needed to end the call. The bloke then became very rude and I ended up hanging up on him. Very poor customer service.

This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company.
