SCAM We have had 4 calls today supposedly from Amazon Prime, all from different numbers, but with 0153 dialing code. Recorded female voice. Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. 01538320737 We are ex directory, and with TPS.

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end.
