They rang us up claiming there was a money withdrawal from one of my parents' bank cards or £8000, even though after checking no withdrawals were made.
Well-organised scam, claiming that internet connection to be terminated in 24 hours due to illegal activity. Obviously tied in with call received 5 minutes earlier from Kuwaiti number 09655448846 bearing similar recorded message

SCAM Indian woman said she was from carphone warehouse doing a promotion with lots of discount off products. She then said so you have a contract then which one? I said you should already have those details if you're from carphone warehouse at which point she started to stumble and kept asking me what contact. I m so sick of sales calls to my mobile that I don t answer unknown numbers any longer. This Derby number has telephoned me at least twice a day over the last three weeks, no message is ever left, so I know they are not bonafide. I have requested companies take my info off their databases in the past and have threatened to report them, but I m not sure it has any effect. They seem a law unto themselves.
