SCAM - Received a call from this number. A recorded message with american ascent tells you it is from BT and there has been hacking activities on your line. Research shows that there is a well known BT hacking scam with a recorded message. This call was 30 mins after an identical from another number 01214360911. Phone number 0189 271 0469 was given to me by bogus Microsoft Help [SIC] agent "Charlie Smith" (Indian accent) whilst trying to con me into the well known MS scam call, no doubt hoping to infect my old PC with whatever they put on it, for anyone daft enough to believe them.
SCAM: Another call from that famous call centre in Manchester. Don't bother answering.
This number (01904530013)called me on my mobile at work, I couldn t take the call at the time, so I called them back, as soon as I said you called me on and gave my mobile number, they hung up!!

Phishing call on my mobile from a land-line. Recorded message purportedly from HMRC saying I was subject to a tax investigation and to press 1 otherwise an arrest warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I put the phone down . You can't call back on the number.

‘Royal Mail parcel’ scam, asking for £2.99 ‘settlement’.
i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. I contacted orange the day after and they had no record of my call, upgrade or anything about this ? a waste of time and effort if this was a crank call, not sure of the purpose for the scammer but will be checking m

Scammer - Says they are BT openreach, then proceeds to say there is a problem with the router and you need to give them details to fix it. When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework.
