I am curious to see who had my mobile number as I did not recognise it and it had rung off before I had a chance to answer. I do not like my mobile number being known by anyone.

Called up asking if I d made funeral plans for my mother. Very insensitive.

Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Indian caller pretending that his name was Nigel and that he was from The call barring service . Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). Started a spiel about nuisance calls and how they want to get everyone onto the new government service - at which point I hung up on the shyster.

harrassment calls from this number. unsure of what the issue is and despite telling her she has the wrong number, she keeps calling and is basically yelling on the phone asking to speak to someone that DOES NOT live here.
